So Your Student has CRPS... Now What?

It is with great excitement, that the following resource guide has been developed for your use! This was identified as a resource of need in the CRPS/RSD community; you told us, we listened! This resource wouldn't be what it is without the valuable and open feedback that over 60 of you provided! Thank you, for all of the information, suggestions and resources you provided to ensure this was a practical document!

This document can be provided to teachers, school nurses and administrators. It is our hope that it will help you (students, guardian(s)) start discussions about what this condition is, and how to best support academic success in spite of this condition.

Consider setting up a meeting with the school, and all applicable staff, to talk about the condition, and provide this as a resource the staff reads either before, or after the meeting. This is by no means a comprehensive resource that will address all of your individual needs, however, it will hopefully help set up a foundation for adapting and ensuring your child's needs are met! Feel free to broadly distribute to your school distracts to also raise awareness.

We will continue to use the other valuable feedback you provided in the survey to develop resources that you've said are needed!

If you are a parent or a guardian of a child who suffers from CRPS, please pass along this very helpful resource guide to your child's school. This will help educate your child's school regarding your child's pain of CRPS.
